USA Dutch Inc. is a precision sheet metal fabrication manufacturer based in Graham, N.C. Established in 1987, this family-owned business meets all of its customers’ sheet metal needs — from laser cutting to punching, bending, welding, and even CNC machining. The Situation: Manual Processes

Adaptability is key for a shop to survive as long as USA Dutch has. Jeff Albaugh, operations manager, knew that manual processes could only take his shop so far, so he chose 17 years ago to implement an ERP that could make it digital.

Jeff explains, “Scheduling has made a difference. Our on-time delivery has gone from 60% to 99%.” Visibility into scheduling across the shop gives Jeff insights into why a job has been delayed and gets those jobs back on schedule. He can see in this full view which departments are overloaded and which jobs might need reassignment.

With the feature Paperless Parts integrated into their JobBOSS² solution, USA Dutch has drastically improved its quoting time. Whereas quoting used to take several days for a job of 75 parts, employees can now do the same job in six hours. Their quick quotes and increase in on-time delivery have led USA Dutch to improve its win rates amongst the competition.
