Dave Turbide has nearly 40 years of experience as an independent ERP consultant, educator, and freelance writer. Dave serves and assists both the developers who build software systems and the manufacturers who use ERP systems. Since 1982, Dave has helped hundreds of manufacturers to select, implement, and get better results from their ERP systems. Also, he has performed analysis, written blogs, articles, thought pieces, white papers, and case studies, and advised software developers and vendors to help them improve their products and market positioning. Dave has authored many reports for major analyst firms and is especially attuned to the needs and challenges of the mid-sized manufacturer and has written several books, including Computers in Manufacturing, MRP+, Why Systems Fail. In the past, Dave has taught as a certified manufacturing engineer for APICS as a Supply Chain Professional at the fellow level in Production and Inventory Management and Integrated Resource Management. As a frequent speaker at regional and national conferences and seminars, Dave can be heard in person and on the web.
